Denver Residential Energy Consumption

This report on residential energy consumption in Denver ,Colorado is part of a continuing program devoted to the analysis of residential energy consumption in the United States . In initiating this research program in 1971,the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HLID) gave to the contractor, Hittman Associates,Inc., (HAI)the task of "...identifying means for obtaining greater efficiencies in the utilization of energy in residences, in order to obtain lower per capita consumption without modification of existing life-styles." Subsequent reports were published which dealt with the consumption and efficient use of energy in Baltimore/Washington area residences.
